Ashford

Milestone Residential, a long established and independent estate agent is delighted to have identified Ashford as a vibrant growing town to open its fourth sales and lettings branch as is becoming clear many buyers are leaving the London Boroughs for the leafy environment of Surrey. Ashford ticks many of their  boxes. Our Ashford branch covers Sunbury, Shepperton, Stanwell, Bedfont and neighbouring towns of Staines and Feltham.

Ashford town uniquely retains a small town charm despite being a large town close to London, situated 15 miles west of Charing Cross in London. Ashford forms part of the London commuter belt with close proximity to M25, M3, M4 and M40. Ashford railway station provides fast transport links in to London Waterloo every 20 minutes with a journey time of 35 minutes.

The town offers an interesting array of 1930’s housing with a mix of Victorian and modern properties and a varied selection of flats and maisonettes with Church Road at the heart of the town with many independent speciality shops, local pubs and restaurants.

There are a number of excellent schools in the area including Clarendon Primary School, St James Senior Boys' School and St Michael Catholic School. Sports facilities include Ashford Tennis Club, Ashford Manor Golf club, Queen Mary sailing club which offers windsurfing, sailing and racing. The nearby Bedfont lakes, Laleham park and Fordbridge park offer acres of beautiful green open spaces for families to enjoy.

Ashford has a great sense of community, with more community groups than any other town in Spelthorne borough. Milestone Residential want to support the local community and be part of the towns future.
